Job Description:
-Must have solid understanding of relational data modeling concepts
-Experience supporting development of web applications in a SQL/Server-application Environment
-Able to write stored procedures / functions and parameterized queries (Mandatory)
-Strong performance tuning skills at both the database and individual SQL levels, Performance
-Monitoring tools like SQL Server Profiler/System Monitor/ Activity Monitor (Mandatory)
-Query optimization and performance tuning (Mandatory)
-Solid experience writing and debugging queries/stored procedures, Able to write / test /
-Update code and design to develop database objects and queries
-Good working knowledge of Windows operating system
-PERFORMANCE TUNING AND CONFIGURING SQL SERVER
• Reconfiguring Memory/AWE options
• Disk resources
• Running Perfmon utility to Monitor Performance
• Running Index Tuning Wizard
• Managing Tempdb
-Strong experience with database backup and recovery methods in a production environment
-Backup and Restore Databases/Logs
-Recovery of master database and device using buildmaster
-Recovery of msdb database
-Recovery of user database
