Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Jobs: engage General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialists Walk ins on 28th July 2011

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) propose to engage General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialists for their various locations/formations throughout the country (purely on contract basis) as per terms and conditions mentioned below :-
The terms and conditions for the said posts are given as under :-

Specialists
Qualification:
(a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Coucil Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section(3) of section
(13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(b) Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule-VI or equivalent.

(c) Experience. 1 ½ years experience for Post Graduate degree holder & 2 ½ years for Diploma holder in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

GDMOs
Qualification:
(a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Coucil Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section(3) of section
(13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(b) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.

Remuneration. Rs.49,750/- for Specialists & Rs.41,213/- for GDMOs Consolidated per month. The contractual appointee will not be entitled to any other allowances, benefits or concessions as admissible to Govt. employees.

Age. All doctors appointed will not continue on the post once he/she reaches 65 years of age.
