POWERGRID is looking for bright, committed and dynamic individuals with rich professional experience to join its fold as per details given under:
Additional General Manager (Law) : 01 post
Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institute. Post Graduate qualification in Law with specialization in Commercial/Corporate Law/ Labour/Taxation Law will be an added advantage.
Job Description: Should be well conversant with all legal matters and should have knowledge of Law relating to contracts, Tax, Labour, Customs, Excise, Land Acquisition, Civil Matters, Arbitration etc .The incumbent is also expected to have in-depth knowledge and experience in execution of deeds, conveyancing & drafting of legal documents besides ensuring compliance with requirements under various Acts, conducting court and arbitration cases, vetting of contracts and rendering legal advice to other departments. The candidates should also have excellent leadership qualities and decision making capabilities, strong inter-personal and communication skills and must be able to lead a team of Law Professionals with result oriented approach and commitment to quality and assigned targets. Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Power Sector will be preferred.

Dy. Manager (Co.Secy) : 02 posts
Qualification: Graduation and qualified Company Secretary (Associated Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India). Additional qualification like Degree in Law or CA or ICWA is desirable.
Job Description: Adequate experience in matters pertaining to Company Law, Institutional Finance, Corporate and Secretarial functions (like drafting of agenda, minutes, petitions, etc. and conduct of Board, Committee and General body meetings, compliance under Companies Act and other relevant Corporate Laws, management of Public Issues including Bonds, merger and acquisitions, SEBI and other statutory requirements, etc., liaison with statutory bodies viz. ROC, CLB, etc. Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Power Sector will be preferred.

Dy. Manager (E&T) : 10 posts
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) / AMIE in E&T Discipline from recognized University/Institute.
E&T discipline includes the nomenclature: Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication, / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation & Electronics / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation.
Job Description: Planning/Design/ manufacturing/ factory testing/ quality assurance/ inspection / erection / testing & commissioning of Telecom equipment/ System.
Planning/Design/ manufacturing/ factory testing/ erection / testing & commissioning of Power system protective relays/ substation automation system/ Power Line Carrier Communication/ SCADA system/Control & Instrumentation System.
Construction/ Erection/ Supervision/ Project management/ Coordination for implementation of Telecom/ SCADA System.
Cost estimation/ Project cost control of Telecom/ SCADA Projects.
Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Power Sector will be preferred.

Rajbhasha Adhikari : 01 post
Qualification: First Class Post Graduate Degree in Hindi (full time) with English as a subject in the Graduate degree examination from a recognized University / Institute.
Job Description: Post?qualification experience in implementing the Government’s policy regarding the use of Hindi for official work in all respects including translation and other related work. The candidate should be well conversant with official Hindi terminology, process, procedure and system for implementation of Rajbhasha rules, regulation and of the Government and PSUs. Experience in PSU/Listed Company ly in Power Sector will be preferred.

Selection:
The selection process shall consist of Personal interview. Candidates shall have the option to be interviewed in Hindi or English.
The Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria and modify the
selection process if required, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview. Candidates will have to qualify in the Interview to be adjudged suitable for empanelment for Appointment. The Offer of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of merit and based on the number of vacancies. However the final appointment of selected candidates will be Subject to candidates being found medically fit in the Pre?Employment Medical Examination to be conducted as per POWERGRID Norms and Standards of Medical Fitness.
