Director (Finance)

Director (Finance) will be a Whole-time Director of the Company reporting to the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer. He would play a key role in driving and implementing strategies to create a world class organization provide strong leadership and possess excellent interpersonal / communication skills, with ability to work closely with the Senior Management Team. The appointment will be for initial term of 5 years.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should be Chartered / Cost Accountant or Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline with MBA (Finance) from reputed institute, with the following competencies / experience in the Hydrocarbon Industry at Senior Position. The candidate should have at least 25 years of experience with at least 3 years at position just below Board level.

Competencies for the Position

Knowledge of the latest domestic and international structured financing options, experience in treasury management, payment security mechanisms and arranging project finance from domestic and international financial institutions / banks is essential.

The incumbent should be able to guide the organization in ensuring compliances / maintenance of a robust internal control / management information systems, risk management and risk cover through innovative and cost effective insurance covers, and skills in development / evaluation of strategic plans, investment opportunities, including takeovers and risk assessment are desirable.

The incumbent will need to plan and manage joint venture relationships and manage key external interfaces with analysts, investors, shareholders, auditors, etc.

Broad knowledge of international Oil & Gas business & LNG value chain.

Additional Responsibilities
Director (Finance) may also be entrusted with the additional responsibility of heading Commercial Function of the Company requiring development of demand plans, shipping/sales contracts and tie up/sourcing of LNG on spot, short/medium and long term contracts to meet the demands; negotiation, finalization and management of contracts.
