Job Description:
Experience in administrating and troubleshooting Oracle Apps Instances in single & multi node environments.
Upgradation of Oracle Applications (11i to 11.5.x) to current releases and current product-level by applying Minipacks and Maintenance patches on various platforms Linux.
Extensive experience in usage of AD Utilities like Adpatch, Adadmin, Adsplice, Adctrl, Adlicmgr, etc…
Installation, patching, cloning, JDK, JInitiator, Dev6i upgrade and handling day-to-day APPS DBA tasks.
Extensive Oracle DBA (9i.x/10g) experience in administrating and troubleshooting single instance databases in Production, Support and Development environments.
Upgraded the Database from 9i to 10g.
Applying database patches with Opatch utility.
Installation, backup and recovery, Exp, Imp, listener, SQL.
Backup and Recovery using RMAN.
Strong exposure to Windows and Linux platforms.
Conceptual knowledge on oracle real application clusters (R A C).
Monitoring the cluster using Cluster Control crsctl.
Using srvctl Utility to control the database services.
Using the Cluvfy Utility.
Adding a node and removing a node from the existing cluster.
