Job Description: Customer Focus
-Provide a professional, prompt and high level of technical support to all problems assigned.
-Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
-Understand all Tier II & III procedures and rules of conduct.
-Make follow up calls to customers on outstanding issues within 24 hours – ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and confirm problem resolution on all issues.
-Escalate customer inquiries to Team Manager and/or Manager as required to ensure problem resolution in a timely manner.
-Expert knowledge of all versions of Sun Solaris Unix 8.0,9.x
-Good and hands-on knowledge of Veritas Cluster Service (VCS) and Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM)
-Working knowledge of – MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
-Sun Certification preferred
-PC skills – Windows, Word, Excel
-Good analytical skills
-Should be flexile for working in the 24 X 7 environment.
