National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (an autonomous Institution under Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, responsible for coordinating the Indian Antarctic Expeditions) is looking for Maintenance Engineers for air conditioning/heating/power generations, power distribution and switch gears systems on contract basis for its Research Base at Antarctica for the season 2011-2013 as per details given below:

1. Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical): 01 Post
Essential Qualifications:
B.E. / B. Tech degree in Electrical/ Mechanical / Instrumentation with 2 years experience in relevant field or Diploma in Engineering with 5 years experience in relevant field.
Experience :
Air conditioning, heating systems, refrigeration and effluent treatment plant including instrumentation. Should be computer literate.

2. Maintenance Engineer (Electrical): 01 Post
Essential Qualifications:
B.E / B. Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation with 2 years experience in relevant field or Diploma in Engineering with 5 years experience in relevant field.
Experience:
Power generation units/CHP, power distribution systems, switch gear systems and instrumentation. Should be computer literate.
