Qualification: Any Graduate

Exp: 3-5yrs

Job Description:
Design, develop and maintain application software and unit tests for Java/Linux based Network Management System
Produce and review technical specifications and design documentation
Perform developer and component level integration testing
Prepare estimates and provide input to the release planning process
Address issues assigned as part of support & maintenance. Provide support to other functional areas as part of the maintenance and testing phases
As required, provide technical input into meetings with customers, partners and suppliers.

Candidate Profile:
Delivery focussed development & ability to switch between multiple tasks
Strong communication skills. Fluent in English and able to express ideas & intentions clearly (verbal & written)
Able to work under pressure and ability to balance cost/time vs. Quality
Knowledge of web services using Axis, Axis2
Knowledge & understanding of agile software development methodologies.
Object Oriented Java software development.
Selecting and applying common design patterns.
JBOSS, EJB, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL & JUnit.
Distributed database systems & High Availability systems development.

Exposure to developing Java based GUIs using Swing technology.
Developing scripts for Unix based Operating Systems.
Software build system experience including writing Ant scripts, use of Maven.
tools for source code control, design, testing, profiling & memory leak(not mandatory but beneficial)
Shell, PERL and PHP based scripting(not mandatory but beneficial)
