Institute of Urban Transport, India requires staff for the following 6 positions in its office for the ‘Sustainable Urban Transport Project’ funded by GEF – UNDP. The project is supported by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India in line with the objectives laid down in the National Urban transport policy 2006 and is already underway. The appointments are for long term. Retired persons with relevant experience may also apply.

1.      Senior urban transport expert
2.      Urban transport expert
3.      Knowledge management centre Head
4.      Publications Head
5.      Training Co-ordinator
6.      Research Development Officer

Detailed job requirements and qualifications for these positions are indicated below. In the case of deserving applicant/applicants having extensive experience, the qualifications may be relaxed. Salaries will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected staff.
