Job Description:
-Design and create a variety of technical documents.
-Acquire and organize basic source material, including applicable specifications, engineering write-ups
-Synthesize detailed information to create customer-facing publications that meet a high-standard for accuracy and readability
-Work within a cross-functional team environment comprising of Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Professional Services, and Training Departments to gather information needed to create and maintain these quality materials

Job Skills:
-Experience in the technical writing/information development/content development industry
-Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent command of the English language
-Professional technical writing experience in the software or hardware industry
-Knowledge of the documentation development life cycle and the processes involved
-Experience on delivery of user documentation of multiple projects as per client specification
-Expertise in writing and reviewing technical documents
-Exposure to interaction with SMEs and engineers to discuss and understand technicalities to be documented
-Proficiency in one or more of the following authoring tools: FrameMaker, Epic Editor, RoboHelp, Eclipse Help, AuthorIT
