Applications are invited from the eligible External candidates for the post of Accounts Officer by Direct Recruitment. The qualifications and other conditions prescribed are as follows:

Accounts Officer: 12 Posts OC (W) – 2, BC-A (G)-1, BC-B (W)-1, BC-D (G)-1SC (W) -2, SC (G) – 2, ST (G)-2, ST(W)-1
Note: Reservation will be provided in accordance with Law.

Qualifications: Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi OR Associate Member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, Culcutta.

A G E: Should not be above 30 years as on 1.7.2010 .
Age relaxable – 5 years in respect of SC/ST/BC candidates;

CONDITIONS

PLACE OF WORK: Anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.

HOW TO APPLY:Candidates should submit their application on plain paper furnishing Name, Proof of D.O.B, Caste (BC/SC/ST), Ex-Servicemen (if applicable), Educational qualifications, Marks Memorandum, Additional Qualifications (if any), Experience / Private practice etc, duly affixing a recent passport size photograph, Address, Contact number etc., on the application and enclosing Photo copies of certificates & Two self addressed and stamped (Rs.5/- each) envelopes so as to reach Chief Manager (HRD), APSRTC, Bus Bhavan, Mushirabad, Hyderabad – 500 624 not later than 5.00 P.M. on 14.10.2010.

2. APPLICATION FEE : OC candidates (i.e., other than SC/ST/BC communities and Ex-Servicemen) should enclose a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) drawn in favour of Financial Adviser, APSRTC, Hyderabad obtained from any Nationalized Bank.

3. METHOD OF SELECTION: – Only those who rank high in the objective type written test would be called for interview. Call letters for written test/Interview would be individually sent to the eligible/selected candidates. After weighing down the marks obtained in (a) Objective type written test, (b) Interview (c) Qualifying degree d) Achievement in NCC/Sports, ranking will be done for provisional selections.

4. TRAINING – Selected candidates have to undergo training for a period of 6 months, with a stipend of Rs.21,700/- per month at Transport Academy, Hakimpet, Hyderabad.

5. SCALE OF PAY – Rs.19,000/- 1000- 39,000/- plus usual admissible allowances.

6. The Corporation reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage / at any time without assigning any reasons. The No. of vacancies advertised may increase or decrease based on the administrative exigencies.
