Deputy General Manager

Job Description:
To assist the General Manager in all aspects of managing Engineering. This includes, prospecting for clients, preparation of quotations, execution of work in the workshop. Sourcing materials, purchasing, stock and inventory control, production control, employee control, job descriptions, performance evaluations (monthly), and all other aspects of professional management.
We aim to fabricate to British Standards and American Standards, though, the most common is British Standards.
The majority of the works is structural steel with general steel fabrication
The routine is to check and monitor the progress of the works. Ability to design, quantify, recommend practical fabrication to our workshop is essential.

Job Skills:
5 years experience at this level, with prior experience in any of the following; workshop floor supervisor, organized and disciplined professional.
The day starts when the workshop and sites start.
The management is expected to be on site, or in the office prior to workers.
A normal day is from 8am to 17:30 with lunch from 13:00 to 14:30 for office, workers will take one hour for lunch.
Married, with long term view at this position with our company.
Married status, with company vehicle, annual leave, remuneration is commensurate with experience.
