Recruitment of Managing Director for Cent Bank Home Finance Ltd. (CBHFL)- 2010
COMPANY PROFILE
Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, with Pan India Branch Network of more than 3564 branches, with total business of more than 269225 Crores and driven by talented work force of 34000 + employees, is looking for a Professionally Qualified and Talented Managing Director for its Subsidiary- Cent Bank Home Finance Limited (CBHFL) whose Share Capital is Rs. 5 crore.
The details are given below:
1. JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
a) The Managing director is responsible for implementation of Boards Directives for achieving the objectives of the company, set policies and procedures necessary for accomplishing business plans. Needs to plan, organize, implement oversee and report on all operational and program functions of the company.
b) To provide leadership to staff, identify potential areas for opening of Branches to expand its business, recruit manpower for meeting the future expansion plan from outside.
c) To establish CBHFL as one of the top 5 Housing Financial Companies service providers in next 3 years.
d) Need to develop expertise of appraisal/approval of Housing Project for tie-ups and finance, explore tie-ups with DFIs in Housing Sector for its growth.
e) To improve recovery in Non-Performing loans, develop financing model for improvement in appraisal method and develop strategies for overall business growth.
2. ELIGIBILITY (As on 31.05.2010)

At least 10 years related experience in Housing Finance/Retail Banking and at least 5 years in Senior Management Position. Thorough knowledge of various regulatory provisions pertaining to RBI, NHB and role of Develop Financial Institutions in the area of Housing Finance like HUDCO and others and should have good liaison with various regulatory authorities. Hands on experience in raising resources through fixed Deposit, Bonds/debentures and Refinance from NHB/other DFIs.
Experience with Public Relations, media relations, government relations and public speaking. Able to draft documents related to above independently |
3. CRITCIAL SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
a) Need to be Tech/ Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Office
b) Strong Management skills with demonstrable leadership, creativity and innovation.
Able to efficiently handle and motivate the Human Resource of the company.
c) Strong Oral and Written Communication skills and experience in facilitating positive and proactive communication with and among the Board of Directors with regards to strategic plans, policies and programs.
d) A history of Personal and Professional integrity.
e) Willingness and ability to devote necessary time for the company well being and growth. Able to handle extensive travel for various work related duties like organizing/ attending meetings, workshops etc during working and non-working days.
4. COMPENSATION
Negotiable, at par with industry
5. SELECTION PROCEDURE
The eligible candidates will be called for personal interview and the decision of the bank in this regard shall be final.

7. APPLICATION FEE
Application fee is Rs.1000/- payable by way of Draft drawn on any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Central Bank of India- Recruitment of MD-CBHFL and payable at Mumbai
8. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
a) While applying for the posts, the applicant should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her candidature will automatically stand cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is / are detected even after appointment, his / her services are liable to be terminated without any notice.
