Job Description:
L2/L3 Protocol Developer:
-Must have had extensive hands-on experience in C programming
-Development experience on a RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, Nucleus) based network switching / routing platform essential
-Must have worked on at least one of the following:
-Layer 2 LAN protocols like MSTP, RSTP, PVST, LACP, VRRP
-Layer 3 protocols like RIP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast routing – PIM-SM, PIM-DM,DVMRP, IPv6
-Layer 4 – 7 protocol optimization
-MPLS, FIPS
-High Availability Features
-Management plane – SNMP, web server, CLI
-Development of networking ASIC drivers

L2/L3 Protocol Testing:
-Manual testing / automation experience on network switching / routing platform essential
-Must have worked on at least one of the following:
-L2 Protocols like STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, 802.1X, LLDP, LAG, LACP
-L3 Protocols like RIP, OSPF, ISIS & BGP
-Multicast Protocols – IGMP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM, Multi-VRF, MSDP, IPV6 Multicast
-IPV6 – RIPng, OSPFv3, ISIS, BGP4+
-MPLS – LDP, MPLS-TE, IPoMPLS
-Network Test tools like Spirent Test Center , IXIA, Smartbits
