National Institute of Open Schooling proposes to fill up the following posts purely on deputation basis for NIOS for its Regional/Sub Centres at Bangaluru, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Imphal, Gandhi Nagar and Vishakapattinum.

Deputy Director /Regional Director: 06
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + G.P Rs. 7600
Place of Posting: Bangaluru, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Imphal, Gandhi Nagar and Vishakapattinum
Qualification & Exp:
A). Officers from Central or State Government, Universities/Semi Government/Autonomous organizations professional and research institutions and bodies holding analogous post on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P 6600/- (Pre-revised Scale Rs.10000-325-15200) or equivalent scale from Government/Semi Government/ Autonomous bodies.
B). Second Class Master’s Degree in any subject with at least 55 % marks.
Desirable
1. Experience in an Open Learning/Distance Education
2. Working knowledge of computer operations
3. Working knowledge in English and Hindi

Section Officer: 06
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4600
Place of Posting: Bangaluru, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Imphal, Gandhi Nagar and Vishakapattinum
Qualification & Exp:
Employees of Central / State Govt. Deptt./Autonomous Educational Institutions holding analogous post on regular basis or with 5 years continuous service in the pay scales of Rs. 9300-34800 +GP 4200 (Pre-revised Rs.5500-9000) or equivalent or with 10 years of continuous service in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 + GP 2400 (Pre-revised Rs.4000-6000) would be eligible for consideration
A) At least 3 years experience in administration/accounts with knowledge of rules and procedures as applicable to Govt./autonomous organization.
B) Preferably Second Class Graduate from a recognized University
C) Working knowledge of computer operations.
Desirable
i) Working knowledge of Hindi and English

Electronic Engineer for HQ (Noida): 01
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 5400
Place of Posting : For its HQ, NOIDA
Qualification & Exp
A degree in Electronic & Communication Engineering or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience OR Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering with 5 years of experience in the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-

Relevant Experience:- The candidate should be conversant with operation installation, commissioning, testing of audio and video equipments computer hardware consumer electronics and test and measuring equipment.

Desirable:- Working knowledge of TV Engineering and Satellite Transmission and service & maintenance of electronics equipment.
