Technical Officer ‘C’ Gr. III(5) : (1 Post)
Area: Molecular Modeling
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39000 (PB-3) with Grade Pay Rs.6600/- (T.E. Rs. 39,068/- p.m.)

EQ&E: M.Sc. (Physics or Chemistry) with minimum of 55% marks and nine years relevant experience in designing of organic molecules using molecular modeling tools for various applications.
JR: The selected candidate has to work with the research group in Molecular modeling and generally assist the senior scientists in R&D activities.
DQ&E: Ph.D. in relevant subject is desirable with computer knowledge. Proficiency in interpretation of the experimental data is desirable.
Technical Officer ‘B’ Gr. III(4): (5 posts)
Area: Séparation Science (2 posts – UR)
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39000 (PB-3) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (T.E. = Rs. 37184/- p.m.)

EQ&E: M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization in Analytical or Physical chemistry with minimum of 55% marks and six years experience in relevant field.
JR: To assist the analytical scientists for developing new spectroscopic and
chromatographic methods of analysis for organic chemical molecules.
DQ&E: Ph.D in relevant area and good computer knowledge. Proficiency in interpretation of the experimental data.

Area: Technical Management Services (3 Posts – UR-2, SC-1)
EQ&E: M.Sc.(Physics /Chemistry /Environmental Science /Life Sciences /Computer Science) or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks with six years experience in relevant duties like coordinating the R&D activities.
JR: The selected candidate has to work in coordination with various scientific
departments on matters relating to national and international projects, Publications, coordination of important meetings like Technical Committee meetings, visit of Indian and Foreign delegates, R&D seminars/conferences and lectures, drafting of letters etc. Handling technical correspondence with appropriate vocabulary. Incumbent is also required to design presentations based on technical inputs obtained.
DQ&E: Experience in handling technical secretariat of a CEO of any reputed R&D establishments either in public sector, government sector or private sector. The incumbent should possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and capable of achieving high degree of co-ordination in the technical functions. The Selected candidate should possess excellent computer skills which includes preparation of power point presentations maintenance of various scientific data publication records and should have excellent command over MS Office skills.

JR: To carry out R & D activities on vector borne diseases. Knowledge on data collection and collation of various parameters like Socia-economic details, Epidemiological, entomology of mosquito vectors and related Bio-informatics knowledge.
DQ&E: Relevant practical experience in field applications, trails and data management capabilities thereof.
Technical Officer ‘A’ Gr. III(3): (7 posts)

Services (4 posts – UR-1, OBC-2, SC-1)
EQ&E: M.Sc. (Physics /Chemistry /Material Science /Environmental Science /Life Sciences /Computer Science /Information Technology) or equivalent, with minimum of 55% marks and three years relevant experience.
JR: Candidates applying for positions in the Business and Technical areas are required to handle Activities of the institute like preparing technical profiles, project summaries, progress reports, Biennial Reports, News Letters, Multimedia presentations on R&D activities process Patent applications, legal agreements and prepare documents leading to business negotiations etc and also assist in work pertaining to national and international projects, Publications, coordination of important meetings like Technical Committee meetings, visit of Indian and Foreign delegates, R&D seminars/conferences and lectures, drafting of letters etc.
DQ&E: Good English writing and communication skills. Computer knowledge and exposure to IPR issues preferably coupled with a law degree are desirable for candidates applying for business and research management areas.

EQ&E: M.Sc. (Chemistry/Analytical) or equivalent, with minimum of 55% marks and three years relevant experience in R&D organization.
JR: Good exposure and working knowledge with HPLC, LCMS, GCMS etc. Good working knowledge in computers and communication skills.
DQ&E: Candidates should be able to assist the Organic Chemistry division with
analytical services such as HPLC, LCMS, and GCMS. The selected candidate generally assists the scientists in developing new analytical methods for analysis of organic chemical molecules as well as routine analysis.

EQ&E: Bachelor of Physiotherapy of 4 ½ years full time duration or its equivalent from a recognized institute with three years relevant experience in a leading organization .
JR: To be part of the IICT dispensary and to take care of the physiotherapy unit of the dispensary.
Should be willing to take up home visits, as and when necessary.
DQ&E: Good communication skills and working knowledge of computers.

Area: Food and Nutrition (1 post – UR)
EQ&E: 1st Class B.Sc. in Hotel Management with two years experience or 1st Class Diploma in Hotel Management of three years full time duration or its equivalent with three years experience in managing a canteen pertaining to large industrial establishment, public sector undertaking or worked in large hotels in the kitchen.
JR: To assist scientists in nutritional related aspects of research as and when needed and also manage the canteen services of IICT and the Guest Houses of IICT
DQ&E: The candidate who have worked in a canteen pertaining to large industrial establishment public sector undertaking and also have managed the guest houses along side / Candidates with hotel industry back ground who have worked in large hotels in their kitchen as assistant chef’s, chef etc. and exposure to maintenance of room services house keeping with the number of years (3 years) mentioned above will be preferred.
Technical Assistants Gr.III(2): (7 posts)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) with Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (T.E. = Rs. 23227/- p.m.)

Area: Technical Laboratory Services (6 – posts – UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-1 & PH-1)
EQ&E: 1st Class in B.Sc. (Chemistry as one of the subject) with two years experience OR 1st class Diploma in Engg. Technology of three years full time duration or its equivalent with three years experience. OR M.Sc (Chemistry or Material Science) with minimum of 55% marks.
JR: To generally assist the Scientists in their R&D activities and carry out experimental work or any other related work as assigned to them from time to time.
DQ&E: Good working knowledge in computers and communication skills.

Area: Library Services (1 post – UR)
EQ&E: 1st Class in B.Sc. and 1st Class B.Lib.Sc. with two years experience in R&D library.
JR: The candidate is expected to manage a library with a large number of scientific journals, books, chemical abstracts etc. and responsible to create an environment to render the services to library users.
DQ&E: Experience of handling library operations in any R&D library and
Certificate/diploma in information and knowledge management training programme. Experience in usage of various library related computer packages will be of added advantage Experience in management of both print and electronic subscriptions is essential. Good communication skills.
