Transmission Engineer-Managed Services

Job Description:
-Person is responsible for execution of all the Transmission activities in the circle.
-Timely resolution of the Transmission related problems in the network.
-To help field team in identification and troubleshooting of Txn network.
-Implementation of connectivity ( Physical /Optical for A-bis, Ater and A interfaces.)
-Troubleshoot the Microwave / MUX problems for error free connectivity.
-Maintain and update the database of the PCM connection in Backbone networks and access networks.
-Ready to go any backbone site any time for troubleshooting.
-Prepare monthly report of for higher authority to analysis the system performance
-Plan and monitor quarterly/ yearly preventive maintenance work Tx links.
-Keep co-ordination with Switch, BSC, and BTS team to ensure smooth workflow.
-Spare trackning ( Repair and returns ) and projection of spares.

Skills:
-Experience in Transmission O&M.
-Excellent knowledge on SDH / PDH network.
-Knowledge of Microwave and MUX is must.
-Should be able to handle different transmission equipments such as E1 tester, DTA, SDH analyser.
-Experience of working in managed service scenario will be a plus.

Qualification: BE/BTech in CSE /ECE
