Job Description:
-Timely updating of assigned sources into IHS Global Insight databases using proprietary data ingest systems & custom parsers
-Quality checking the data before release
-Managing changes on source websites, data formats, feed guides
-Working with operations to identify and resolve process failures
-Research and adding new data and/or sources as requested by internal or external clients
-Become regional financial data expert
-Answer customer data questions regarding data in area of expertise
-Building/creating/maintaing displays of data for presentation in IHS Global Insight proprietary software
-Familiarity with client facing software
-Notifying clients of changes and delays to data * via Flash Notice & Data Alerts)
-Process improvement feedback to data team and management
-Participation in special projects
-Maintaining feed guides with any changes to process or source web sites.
