Job Description:
The person will be responsible for Software design, Programming, Unit Testing and technical documentation and required to have ownership of / participate in following activities –
-Requirement analysis.
-Program Design.
-Assist DBA/PL in database design.
-Programming.
-UI Designing.
-Bug Fixing / Defect Resolution.
-Estimation of any change request.
-Client communication.
-Code Reviews.
-Code study /Reverse engineering.
-Unit Testing.
-Peer testing.
-Inputs for impact analysis.
-Integration of modules and integration analysis.
-Technical documentation (Internal program documentation, program specifications, user manual etc.).
Skills:
Tools & Technologies:
-Hands on and in-depth knowledge of C#.
-Good Knowledge/Hands on of ADO.NET and ASP.Net with .NET Framework 2.0/3.0, XML
-Knowledge of COM Interoperatibility.
-Hands on and in-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 database.
-Must have proficiency in application of the programming skills.
-Experience required in development of desktop and client/server products/ applications. Experience in developing web services and / or web based applications will be an advantage.
-Knowledge of Microsoft development environment and technologies for software development lifecycle.
-Knowledge of various Design Patterns.
-Knowledge of writing technical documents using UML, Use Cases.
Project Life Cycle:
-Ability to prepare application design, programming (as per specifications), unit testing, code review, peer testing and technical documentation.
-Ability to carry out bug fixing / defect resolution, impact analysis and problem isolation.
-Exposure to CMM (I) standards and processes will be an added advantage.
